ગર્ભાશયનું કેન્સર (Endometrial cancer)

ગર્ભાશયનું કેન્સર
 તેના મુખ્ય બે પ્રકાર છે:
 * એન્ડોમેટ્રિયલ કેન્સર:
   * આ કેન્સર ગર્ભાશયના અંદરના સ્તર, જેને એન્ડોમેટ્રીયમ કહેવાય છે, ત્યાં શરૂ થાય છે.
   * તે ગર્ભાશયના કેન્સરનો સૌથી સામાન્ય પ્રકાર છે.
 * ગર્ભાશય સાર્કોમા:
   * આ કેન્સર ગર્ભાશયની માંસપેશીઓની દિવાલ (માયોમેટ્રીયમ)માં શરૂ થાય છે.
   * તે એન્ડોમેટ્રિયલ કેન્સર કરતાં ઘણું ઓછું જોવા મળે છે.
અહીં કેટલીક મહત્વપૂર્ણ બાબતો દર્શાવેલ છે:
 * લક્ષણો:
   * અસામાન્ય યોનિમાર્ગ રક્તસ્રાવ, ખાસ કરીને મેનોપોઝ પછી.
   * પેલ્વિક દુખાવો.
   * યોનિમાર્ગ સ્રાવ.
 * જોખમ પરિબળો:
   * ઉંમર.
   * સ્થૂળતા.
   * હોર્મોનલ અસંતુલન.
   * કૌટુંબિક ઇતિહાસ.
 * નિદાન:
   * પેલ્વિક પરીક્ષા.
   * અલ્ટ્રાસાઉન્ડ.
   * બાયોપ્સી.
 * સારવાર:
   * સર્જરી.
   * રેડિયેશન થેરાપી.
   * કેમોથેરાપી.
   * હોર્મોન થેરાપી.

Endometrial cancer

Endometrial cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the endometrium, which is the lining of the uterus. Here's a breakdown of key information:
Key Points:
 * What it is:
   * It's a cancer that originates in the cells of the endometrium.
   * It's also sometimes referred to as uterine cancer, though it's important to distinguish it from uterine sarcoma, which is a different and rarer form of uterine cancer.
 * Symptoms:
   * The most common symptom is abnormal vaginal bleeding, especially after menopause.
   * Other symptoms can include:
     * Pelvic pain
     * Pain during urination
     * Pain during intercourse
 * Risk Factors:
   * Factors that can increase the risk of endometrial cancer include:
     * Older age
     * Obesity
     * Hormone imbalances (high estrogen levels)
     * A history of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
     * A family history of endometrial cancer
     * Taking tamoxifen (a breast cancer drug)
 * Diagnosis:
   * Diagnosis typically involves:
     * Endometrial biopsy
     * Dilation and curettage (D&C)
 * Treatment:
   * The primary treatment is usually surgery, often including a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus).
   * Other treatments may include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy.
Important Considerations:
 * Early detection is crucial for successful treatment.
 * If you experience any abnormal vaginal bleeding, especially after menopause, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional.
I hope this information is helpful.
